Also referred to as the "UL n24", this band operates as a supplemental uplink from 1626.5 to 1660.5 MHz. It has been allocated for use in North America, and matches the FDD uplink frequency of the n24 band. The n99 band was introduced in the 3GPP Release 17.1 in April 2021.
