Description

The CommScope 78EZDF DIN Female Connector is designed for use with 7/8" AVA5-50FX coaxial cables, offering reliable RF connections in various applications. This 7/16 DIN Female connector features a straight, free-hanging design, ideal for attaching to 7/8 corrugated cable types with a captivated mechanism. The connector, measuring 48.01 x 37.08 mm and weighing 136.65 g, is built with a robust body and silver-plated inner contacts, ensuring durability through over 50 mating cycles.

Operating effectively within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, it supports frequencies from 0 to 5000 GHz. The connector boasts a low Passive Intermodulation (PIM) rating of ≤ -116 dBc, with an input impedance of 50 Ω and high insulation resistance of ≥ 5000 mΩ. It is capable of handling peak power up to 40 kW with an RF operating voltage of ≤ 1415 Vrms.

Quality and compliance are assured through RoHS and ISO 9001 certifications, as well as testing against IEC mechanical standards. Performance metrics include a VSWR of ≤ 1.04:1 and minimal insertion loss across various frequencies. With a strong presence in telecommunications, CommScope provides innovative solutions for wired and wireless networks globally.
