Description

N (or N-Type) solder connectors are used within high performance low-band radio communications systems, such as in aerospace, radar, and broadcast.

This connector is used to terminate Semi-Flexible and Semi-Rigid 0.141" cable types such as RG-402, where both the inner conductor and outer braid are soldered to the connector.

As a low-PIM design the connector uses ternary alloys and silver plating to achieve very low VSWR under 3 GHz, and a modest < 1.3:1 VSWR up to 6 GHz.

This N Male coaxial connector is used in high performance and general-precision systems up to 6 GHz. Termination of semi-flexible cables, particularly those operating to 6 GHz must be made with great care and precision.
