Description

SMA solder connectors are used within high performance radio communications systems, such as in 4G and 5G cellular, microwave, mmWave, and aerospace applications.

This connector is used to terminate Semi-Flexible and Semi-Rigid 0.141" cable types such as RG-402, where both the inner conductor and outer braid are soldered to the connector.

As a low-PIM design the connector uses ternary alloys and silver plating to achieve very low VSWR under 3 GHz, and a modest < 1.3:1 VSWR up to 6 GHz.

This SMA Male coaxial connector is used in high performance and general-precision systems up to 6 GHz. Termination of semi-flexible cables, particularly those operating to 6 GHz must be made with great care and precision.
