Ålands Telekommunikation Ab provides mobile services in Finland's Åland Islands under the brand Ålcom. Ålands Telekommunikation Ab was formerly known as Ålands Mobiltelefon Ab and changed its name to Ålands Telekommunikation Ab in January 2012. The company was founded in 1989 and is based in Mariehamn, Finland. Ålands Telekommunikation Ab operates as a subsidiary of Alands Telefonandelslag AB and Mariehamns Telefon Ab.
Ålcom 3G Network
On the first day of 2002 Ericsson and the Finnish operator Ålands Mobiltelefon AB (ÅMT) launched a 3G service on the island of Åland in Finland. The contract includes a mobile network solution integrating GSM and 3G that will cover the island of Åland along with its 26,000 inhabitants.

Ålcom 4G Network
In 2016, Ålcom partnered with Ukko Mobile (now Edzcom) to extend Ukko Mobile's LTE B31 (450 MHz) coverage also in Åland. Ålcom operate 3G HSPA services over the B1 (2100 MHz) band, and 4G LTE services on B20 (800 MHz), and B3 (1800 MHz).
