5G Network
Controlling 210 MHz of spectrum across Alaska, GCI announced it had teamed up with Ericsson in June 2019 to begin deployment of 5G services. GCI's 5G network was launched in April 2020 using n71 (600 MHz). mmWave services are available in certain areas using n260 (39 GHz) and n262 (48 GHz).
