Tigo Honduras is a telecommunications network operating in Honduras. It is a subsidiary of Millicom International Cellular SA, a Luxembourg-based telecommunication service provider known for its fixed line and mobile services in Latin America. Millicom International Cellular SA, trading under the brand name Tigo, was established on December 14, 1990, by Shelby Bryan, Jan Stenbeck, Telma Sosa, and Olvin Galdamez. The company's main shareholder is French billionaire Xavier Niel, who owns 27.13% of the company. The Tigo brand provides digital services including high-speed data, broadband, mobile, cable TV, voice and SMS, Mobile Financial Services, and business communications across nine Latin American markets.

In 2004, Millicom conceptualised the TIGO brand and in 2008, it acquired AMNET for fixed Internet and TV services, marking its formal entrance into the cable business. In 2014, Millicom launched its first 4G high-speed internet services in Colombia, followed by Bolivia later in the year, and the remaining markets soon after. As of 2023, French billionaire Xavier Niel, through his company Atlas Investissement, holds a 25.02% stake in Millicom, making him the company's main shareholder.
