3G Network
Yettel Serbia launched its 3G network on March 1, 2007, initially offering speeds of 1.8 Mbps, which later evolved to 3.6 Mbps. By July 29, 2011, the company had introduced HSPA+ technology, providing speeds of up to 21 Mbps. On June 19, 2012, Yettel further upgraded its network to support DC-HSPA+ technology, achieving speeds of 42 Mbps across its entire 3G footprint. The 3G network primarily utilised the 2100 MHz band, with some usage of the 900 MHz band for coverage in specific areas.

4G Network
Yettel Serbia entered the 4G market with the commercial launch of its LTE1800 network for post-paid customers on March 25, 2015. The initial rollout covered key areas, including Belgrade, Subotica city centre, Kopaonik, and Zlatibor. The company participated in the RATEL auction in November 2015, securing 10 MHz of paired spectrum in the 800 MHz band (band 20) for LTE deployments. By 2023, Yettel had expanded its 4G coverage significantly, utilising the 800 MHz, 1800 MHz, and 2100 MHz bands. The network supported carrier aggregation, with up to 3CA (three carrier aggregation) providing enhanced bandwidth and speeds. Yettel's 4G network was recognized for its wide coverage and high performance across Serbia.

5G Network
Yettel Serbia began its journey into 5G technology by launching the first 5G base station in the Belgrade Science and Technology Park in June 2019. This initiative created a test environment for domestic and foreign companies, startups, and students to develop solutions based on 5G technology. In May 2022, Yettel expanded its 5G test environment to NTP Čačak. The company received temporary permits for spectrum in the 3600 MHz and 2600 MHz frequency bands to support these test environments. As of 2024, Yettel had not yet launched a commercial 5G service but was actively preparing for the anticipated 5G spectrum auction, expected to be conducted by RATEL in Q4 2025. Yettel's investment in 5G technology aimed to provide increased speed, greater coverage, and capacity, supporting the development of smart solutions across various industries.
