Similar to the Front-Mount Bulkhead, this connector configuration offers a unique feature: a secondary coaxial dielectric that insulates the connector body from the panel. This design choice aids in mitigating potential electrical interference, thus ensuring cleaner signal transmission. A solder lug is provided to transmit the ground signal from the connector body. This isolated ground mechanism optimises signal integrity and prevents the potential for ground loops or other grounding issues, adding an additional layer of reliability to the RF transmission process.
