Opnet

Opnet is a telecommunications company operating in Italy. It was originally established as OPNET Technologies, Inc., a software business focused on providing performance management solutions for computer networks and applications. The company was founded in 1986 and later made its public debut in the year 2000. In a significant corporate event, OPNET was acquired by Riverbed Technology in October 2012. The acquisition deal was valued at approximately $1 billion US dollars.
